In LOVE with this dress (bet no one has used that pun before, bwahaha!) ...as you would expect from a chiffon dress, it's flowy, delicate and beautiful. Of course, it doesn't fit me as it probably should, but psh nothing does, and I like the way it puffs out. Oh also, if you've been following my blog for a while, you will know that I was in dire need of a haircut. Well you know what I did girls? I was so terrified of getting it cut here that I decided to freakin' cut it myself! I stood in front of the mirror and happily snipped away, it was rather fun and quite successful I'd say. No more split ends, thank god! Hope you are all well. I have many more blog posts to come! :D

Yell 'POSE' at me and you get this... oh my. This is quite an interesting post actually because the first pics are before I had my wisdom tooth extracted and the montage pic is after, hello bloated face! I was kinda terrified, but I hardly felt a thing. Oh and I'm still rocking my Oasap bag, I get compliments on it wherever I go, at one point in the dentist's chair, there were three woman all oo-aahing over it whilst I sat there with my face getting more and more retarded looking. Fun times had by all.

The other day I randomly decided that I needed a bright blue blazer, no idea why, but it had to be long and the perfect shade of blue. I was amazed that it only took two shops to find one, and it was on sale! Score! I thought it made a nice contrast to this lovely printed dress from Club Couture, and ya' just gotta add the Lita's to punk it up! I desperately want the crochet ones for Spring...

This is the coat my parentals helped me afford for my birthday! :) It is my perfect coat, which as you know, is impossibly difficult to find. All those winters of searching and I finally found one that *shockhorror* fits me on the waist :O shoulders :O AND is long enough in the arms.... aaaaah :)

Hello all! :) Just showing off my new bag. I don't know why I love it so much, My bestie Tamasine thinks I'm crazy, but I just think it's the coolest thing ever, lol :P What do you guys think?
In terms of life, it has gotten SO much better. I still don't have a group of friends, but I've resided with the fact that I probably won't whilst I'm here. I mean, I know quite a few people here now and really like 'em all, but it just won't be the same as England and my girls! (See this post) It seems everyone I meet has had the same group of friends since they were tiny and it's near impossible to compete with that. It's so different in England because everyone my age has moved away from home (ie away from bloody school!) and been forced to make new friends at uni etc, so it's a heck of a lot easier. Plus the only reason I'm even in Winnipeg is because of the boyfriend and I'm moving back in September, so whatever!
To get to the point, lol, the reason I'm happier is because I now really like my job :O! Never thought I'd see the day. haha. I'm a visual merchandiser for American Apparel, which means I style and dress mannequins and design wall displays, which is really fun. I write my own schedule too! :)
I also had a rare day off with Drew on Tuesday and made a little collage of the fun times we had, so I shall leave you with that my lovelies! :) Have a great day! x

I got this outfit from Club Couture and can safely say that this is the heaviest skirt I own! It looks expensive from the sequins alone, they are of the square variety as opposed to circular and turn an ordinary skirt into a pure beaut! I also love the asymmetrical detail to the top.
I would also like to mention that I have a few new pieces in my online store Koko & Beau including this rather fetching/weird deer necklace, which I adore, especially when worn with buttoned up shirts.
Also, it was my birthday today! I was so bummed all week that I wouldn't be with my besties in London, but Drew just made it the most perfect day :) We went out for breakfast, then took tons of photo's for my blog (YES!!) then he took me shopping and out to dinner and a movie. Gosh I was so spoilt :) He is literally the best EVEEEER! So in love <3

Hello my lovelies, I have some news! I am officially no longer unemployed. I work at American Apparel! I'm working towards being 'sales manager' in this first month which is insane, but awesome. Definitely a challenge, but I need that. I also asked my manager if he could get them to sponsor my blog and he said maybes! :)
I hope the last photo made you smile! :P I’m going to have to find a beautiful stately manor or something, there is no chance of me standing outside in -10 weather again. Bloody Manitoba!

Say hello to my new shoes! *dies*
I remember when I first saw these beauties online, they were the most amazing shoes I’d ever seen and I neeeeeded them. But alas, I am poor (and they were sold out everywhere) and so I resided with the fact that they would never be mine.
Imagine my surprise when come Christmas morning, I opened a box from my boyfriend and peeling back the paper, the first thing I saw was a sticker that said ‘spike, black silver’. I turned to him and said “are you kidding me!?” and further ripped open the packaging to see a beautiful jeffrey campbell box and inside lay the most amazing, sharp, COOL shoes ever!
Christmas was amazing, I got tons of lovely things, including an xbox, thanks folks! :) Plus the snood from asos I've been lusting over :) I missed my family (especially my cat) and I missed our Christmas dinner! No roast potatoes or carrots or parsnips or broccoli or little sausages with bacon *sigh* But I got to go quading in the snow, which was awesome!

OMG OMG OMG guys!!! I made the front page of Chictopia! I haven't been able to stop smiling since I was picked. I was trying to explain to Drew why it is such a big deal (boys, lol), I said it's like finally being the pretty, popular girl in school. That's how it feels! Getting any kind of recognition for the time and effort you put into your blog/photography/style is amazing, so I'm on such a high right now!
Anyway, onto the outfit! I Bloody love this hat. Drew thinks I'm obsessed with this colour at the moment, which is quite true. It's just perfect for winter and looks beautiful against the snowy whiteness. I can also tell you that this shoot took all of 2 minutes cause it was -6 out, lol. I am tiny and don't do cold! Although I should probably just stop complaining and buy an ugly winter coat. Blah.
Life update! I am now an INTERN! :D Yes, it is unpaid, but it gets me out of the house and meeting new people and I get to learn all about interior decoration and marketing. Yey for me :) Oh and I also have a recruitment company trying to place me in the garment industry, so things are looking up! Plus, its Christmas in 5 days!!! Merry Christmas girls! :D
